To say that this has been a long time coming would be the understatement of the year. I have been wanting to launch my blog & brand for a few years now. I am so happy the day has finally come. The last few years I have battled through the most extreme case of shyness & perfectionism proved to be a continuous barrier between doing something I have always felt called to do.
I have a hundred reasons why I feel absolutely compelled to start this blog. Not only as a creative outlet but also to share some of the amazing things I have learned in life, love & business. You can expect to see weekly posts & videos that will touch on a little bit of everything, from beauty tricks, life hacks, body image to business. I have learned throughout the years that I would much rather be the "Girl's girl" who will happily give anything, to anyone, because it feels wonderful when I can help someone achieve something faster or easier. I have taken a lot of risks, while choosing to live life differently & continuously rebelled against the status quo. I remember the times when I sought out guidance, help or advice only to have doors slammed in my face & because of this, it has become my mission to help as many people as possible, in any way I can.

One of the things that kept me from launching this blog for so long was everyone telling me to stick to one "niche" & only write about that. Those who know me, would instantly see how that could never work (and subsequently it didn't) I do not lead a very ordinary lifestyle & my story is definitely a colourful one. With this in mind, you can expect to see me covering a wide range of topics & I have oodles of ideas to help you live your best life.

I am a serial entrepreneur running multiple businesses from my home on the beautiful Lake Okanagan. I left the corporate world in 2011 & have never looked back. I hustle hard every day even though my job rarely feels like work. I am incredibly passionate about what I do & the amazing people I am blessed to work with. If you are new around here, then you probably don't know that I am a wedding & lifestyle photographer, a wedding planner & event stylist, a travel agent & blogger & I run a digital marketing agency that specializes in branding & identity development for female entrepreneurs. Sprinkle in a little freelance web & graphic design too - and you see what I mean when I say that I am a bit of a workaholic.
